JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Software Engineer will lead in the design and implementation of our next generation IT-GRC solutions. Our product is built on top of the latest J2EE technology. The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with Product Managers and key IT-GRC solution experts to help define the solution scope and features.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for leading a group of technical resources in the design and configuration of Agiliance IT-GRC solutions
- Responsible for communicating with QA and Performance testing teams to deliver a high quality solution offering
- Responsible for coordinating and working with offshore team members as part of a distributed Solution development team
REQUIREMENTS
- 6 - 10 years of progressive experience in development for a scalable, high performance enterprise product.
- Strong Java/J2EE development experience.
- Experience with Hibernate, Spring and Strut, WebServices, SOAP
- Proficient in XML and SQL
- Excellent working knowledge of Oracle, Oracle RAC, MySQL or MS SQL.
- Excellent working knowledge on any one of the following application servers: Tomcat, WebSphere, JBoss
- Understands development methodology and development life-cycle
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in person, by telephone, and with large teams
- Requires Bachelor or Masters in CS/CE

JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a senior position responsible for the design and development of an UI framework and new features for Agiliance's flagship product, RiskVision. Implement key UI enhancements for upcoming releases and provide improvements and fixes to existing versions. Expand the scope, scale, performance, and reliability of the product. Use judgment, creativity and sound technical knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions. Work cohesively with product management, documentation, and QA and Support organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop new software components and features
- Write high level design documents
- Participate in and contribute to UI design and prototyping
- Gather end user requirements through collaborative discussions with product management and support
- Ongoing development, support, and maintenance of RiskVision.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- 3 - 8 years of relevant industry experience with references
- Solid user interface design and development
- Experience in developing rich client interfaces
- Strong interest in user experience and human computer interaction
- Strong working knowledge of J2EE, JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, cross-browser development and JavaScript libraries like PrototypeJS, jQuery, DWR, etc.
- Experience with Reporting Frameworks like Jasper is a plus
- Experience with SpringSecurity is a plus
- Problem solving capabilities and analytical skills
- Solid knowledge and application of engineering concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Enthusiasm to learn new tools and technologies
