AGILIANCE EXPANDS MANAGEMENT TEAM IN PREPARATION FOR NEXT PHASE OF MARKET SUCCESS

The Company Places Seasoned Professionals with Proven Track Records into Top Business Development, Sales, and Marketing Positions

San Jose , California, October 10, 2007 —Agiliance, Inc. announced today the expansion of its executive management team with the appointment of  Dev Ghoshal as Vice President of Business Development and Global Client Services, Bob Horn as Vice President of Sales, and Patrick Kerans as Vice President of Marketing.  Hiring Ghoshal, Horn and Kerans broadens the expertise of the existing Agiliance management team, and the three will be instrumental in helping Agiliance add to its current roster of A-list companies such as E*TRADE, further its leadership position in the nascent Information Technology Governance, Risk, and Compliance (IT-GRC) space and deliver on its vision of enabling today’s organizations to transform their IT risk and compliance management initiatives into a competitive advantage.

“The success of any company is influenced in great part by the experience, leadership, and synergy of the management team,” said Patrick J. Conte, CEO, Agiliance.  “With that in mind, we placed great rigor assessing the skills and personalities of each member of the management team as well as how they would complement each other.  That rigor has already paid off in spades – our pipeline is exploding, our strategic relationships are enhancing customer satisfaction and increasing our market footprint, and we have credibly established ourselves as the clear leader in a market that is set to explode within the next 12-18 months.”

Bob Horn comes to Agiliance from Sun Microsystems, where he held positions leading Sun's U.S. Software Identity Management sales teams.  Under Bob's leadership, the combined Identity Management, Seeybeyond and Enterprise Web Services divisions saw more than 100% annual growth and elevated Sun to the revenue and market leader in the IdM space.  He has also held numerous sales management roles at Sun within the Sun/Netscape Alliance, iPlanet and SunONE software organizations, where he led significant customer growth in the Central and Southern areas.   Prior to Sun, Bob held management positions at AMR Corporation (American Airlines and Sabre Inc.) and The Boeing Company.

“After spending much time looking at the universe of private technology companies, I believe that Agiliance is absolutely unmatched in terms of potential,” said Horn. “I’m delighted to join the Agiliance management team and look forward to helping accelerate our success and building on what is already a solid foundation.”

As head of Business Development, Dev Ghoshal is responsible for Agiliance’s overall partner strategy and leads all  partner engagements.  As the executive in charge of Global Client Services, he also leads Professional Services and Customer Support for Agiliance.  Dev brings more than 15 years of experience in consulting, technology and P & L management to Agiliance.  Earlier in his career, Dev spent five years with McKinsey & Company, a global strategic consulting company where he served clients in the high technology, energy and transportation sectors. He then joined i2 Technologies, a supply-chain software organization that grew from $100 million to a $1 billion supply-chain leader during his six-year period. He held several leadership roles at i2, including Vice President, EMEA and Senior Vice President of Global Solution Delivery and Business Development.  Dev holds a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, Master of Science from Texas A & M University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.

“My focus at Agiliance will be to execute on the company’s long-term vision and strategic direction by establishing relationships that will accelerate the widespread adoption of our IT-GRC solution, which is unmatched in terms of depth, breadth and value,” said Ghoshal . “I’m delighted to use my skills and experience in this effort, and I look forward to developing key partnerships and innovative business models that will maximize our market performance.”

As Vice President of Marketing, Patrick Kerans’ responsibilities encompass marketing communications, demand creation, analyst and press relations, product strategy, and product and channel marketing.  Patrick brings over 20 years of experience in leading product management, marketing communications, operations, and strategy consulting teams in both early stage companies and Fortune 500 corporations. Prior to joining Agiliance, Patrick led marketing for Counterpane Internet Security (now BT Counterpane) in the managed security services market. He has held management roles in product management and business development at Lotus/IBM.  Patrick co-founded and led marketing at Altawave Inc., a pioneer in the wireless application development space acquired by Lightbridge Inc. Little, Inc.  Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

“Agiliance has achieved several important milestones during the last year and with the combined skills of the team, is clearly poised for major success,” said Patrick Kerans, Vice President of Marketing, Agiliance.  “By providing purpose-built software for managing all the complex activities involved in IT compliance and  risk analysis, Agiliance is enabling today’s organizations to make the right IT security investments at the right time, especially as business and regulatory priorities change.  In other words, we’re allowing them to “compete on risk.”
