AGILIANCE EXPANDS EMEA OPERATIONS AS GLOBAL DEMAND FOR IT-GRC AUTOMATION SOLUTIONS CONTINUES
Agiliance Opens EMEA headquarters in London, UK, taps veteran enterprise software executive Martyn Richards to head up EMEA operations
SAN JOSE, Calif. – April 22, 2008 - Agiliance, the leading provider of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (IT-GRC) solutions, today announced that it was expanding its global footprint with the launch of its EMEA headquarters based in London, England. The new site formalizes Agiliance’s commitment to the region and builds upon the existing satellite infrastructure which supports clients such as Bwin Interactive AG. With an expanded European presence, Agiliance can ensure the highest level of customer support for existing and new customers and better fulfill the growing demand for IT GRC solutions across the EMEA region.
Former Oracle executive and seasoned technology professional Martyn Richards has been appointed as Managing Director of Agiliance EMEA and will be responsible for managing existing relationships, driving new business and providing the strategic direction for EMEA operations. An experienced risk and compliance professional, Richards will provide both sector and territory specific insight into the multi regulatory challenges faced by organizations across the region. He has worked within the technology sector for the past twenty years, and has headed up of a number of NASDAQ listed companies within EMEA and held various senior management roles within Oracle, Tumbleweed, and IMI.
"Agiliance IT-GRC 3.0 is by far the most comprehensive, integrated solution on the market. Other IT GRC solutions providers either focus on one piece of the IT risk and compliance lifecycle or sell a basic solution that requires a strong services component -- both of which result in additional investment and a fragmented approach to IT GRC" said Martyn Richards, Managing Director of Agiliance EMEA. "From the conversations we are having with companies, we are acutely aware of the need for solutions that integrate and automate security policy management, standardization of controls and compliance and risk management."
The Agiliance solution will help organizations in EMEA to more quickly and accurately achieve compliance in areas such as EuroSOX, PCI, and ISO 27001 more quickly and with more accuracy, as well as provide a clear snapshot of their IT risk and compliance posture at any given point in time.
Patrick J. Conte, CEO of Agiliance, said: “While the business impact of regulations is a worldwide phenomenon, every country has a unique set of regulations and business conditions that shapes its risk profile. As London is a major economic hub and many blue chip companies establish their EMEA operations out of the city, it provides us with an ideal base to heighten our ability to provide local support to customers.”
Agiliance was named one of Dark Reading’s “Top 10 Hot Security Start-ups” in 2007 and was a current SC Magazine Excellence Award finalist. Its flagship solution, Agiliance IT-GRC 3.0, was purpose-built to eliminate the risk and compliance information silos that result in operational inefficiencies and inadequate risk measurement. With deep domain expertise in enterprise security automation, Agiliance understands how difficult it is to manage and protect highly complex, dynamic IT systems, and is recognized for the breadth and depth of its solution.
